Hello! I am an Assistant Professor at the Maastricht Centre for Systems Biology and Bioinformatics (MaCSBio) at Maastricht University, where I develop and apply pathway- and network-based approaches to study immunometabolism in chronic diseases. My research connects bioinformatics and systems biology to biomedical applications, with a particular focus on integrative approaches for understanding complex biological networks. I am also passionate about making biological knowledge about disease mechanisms accessible and usable for the broader scientific community through open science initiatives.
